The Fox 40 Float is a fork designed for Enduro / DH practice, Grip 2 Hi / Low Comp / Reb technology has 2 positions: Open-Close and allows you to adjust the compression in open mode with a thumbwheel. Thus you can obtain a more precise adjustment according to the practiced ground.

Float damping:
The FLOAT pneumatic shock absorber developed for the 32, 34 36 and 40 forks is lighter and reduces the force required to release. It offers excellent sensitivity on small bumps regardless of the rider and the pressure setting.
Similar to our FLOAT shocks, the new FLOAT system features negative and positive chambers that balance automatically. This provides proper pressure for every mountain biker. The progressiveness of the damping curve is adjustable by means of spacers for the air volume so that mountain bikers can precisely adjust the behavior of the air shock.
